About the Band Program
THE SETUP
Grades 2 - 12.
Pick up a new instrument or bring your old favorite.
Learn something valuable. Develop your skills.
Make new friends. Get more band.

New and aspiring musicians are always welcome.
THE PROGRESSION
Each group will receive four or more small-group lessons and/or band rehearsals each month.
RECORDER ENSEMBLE
2nd or 3rd Grade
Get a head-start on note-reading, composition, playing by ear, and playing in a group.
BEGINNING BAND
1st Year Band
Start a new instrument and begin to read, write, and play music in an ensemble.
INTERMEDIATE BAND
2nd & 3rd Year Band
Refine the skills from beginning band and meet some new challenges.
ADVANCED BAND
4th Year Plus
Take your musicianship to the next level in our wind and percussion ensemble.
(Third year students may audition to join this group.)
THE NUMBERS
$100 per month
no matter how many classes you attend
($75 for Recorder Ensemble)
Four or More 1-Hour Lessons / Rehearsals Offered Monthly!
BREAKING IT DOWN
First semester runs September through January. Second semester runs February through May.
There is a $15 non-refundable materials fee due once a year for the band.
Waive the materials fee if you pay the first four months in advance.
Pay for the entire year (8 months) in one payment and also enjoy the last month of band completely on the house!
All siblings in the program receive a $10 discount each month.
Private lesson options are available. Private students may also participate in full band rehearsals and concerts.
Families are responsible for obtaining supplies such as reeds, valve oil, book, quality instruments, and a music stand.
We will be glad to help you locate the items you need.
